Red Design新落成的复合工作室，融合了办公、会议、展厅及实验室的概念，这是一个充满探索及无限创意的空间，也展示了我们对下个时代新型酒店的设计理念。

Red Design’s latest workspace exists at the intersection of office, meeting space, showroom and laboratory.  It is an environment for exploration and collaboration: a space to inspire our team and our clients as we create the next generation of hospitality spaces.

 

 

工作室位于上海静安陕康里，这是一个经典建筑与新式品牌碰撞的创意园区，集合办公、餐饮及娱乐等复合属性的环境，恰好契合着我们的设计理念，Red Design正坐落在园区1L的黄金位置，采用“创意橱窗”的空间设计完美地对外展示创作过程。

The office is located in the heart of Shanghai’s Jingan ShangKangli development, a community of office, dining and retail spaces with a collective emphasis on lifestyle and creativity.  Our design responds to this sociable context: unusually for a design agency we occupy a ground floor space, presenting a literal ‘shop window’ to the neighbourhood to showcase the Red Design creative process.

 

 

Red Design 有幸与众多酒店及奢侈品/零售品牌合作，我们对空间融合的新式理念也同样呈现在工作室中。一进工作室便可看到宽敞的接待区和会客室，前卫感十足的椭圆形天花配上点睛般的镜面氛围灯，整体设计与Red Design的品牌视觉相呼应着。

At Red Design we have been fortunate to collaborate with hospitality and luxury retail brands on spaces which incorporate the latest thinking on hybridization and flexibility.  The layout of the office is guided by these ideas.  Visitors enter a generous reception and lounge area, furnished to create a comfortable environment for waiting guests and casual meetings.  Defining this light-filled space is an elliptical ceiling void punctuated with a single mirrored uplight, referencing the Red Design brand identity.

 

 

紧邻休息区的是一间主会议室，巧妙运用弧形玻璃和轻质的纱帘，不仅能保持隐秘还能创造出一种柔和的分离感。视线穿越会议室时能看见休息小憩区，Ceppo Nova大理石桌面是此区域的最大亮点。

Next to the lounge area is the main meeting room, enclosed in curved glass and airy drapes to create a soft sense of separation while still maintaining privacy.  This meeting room screens a third informal meeting area: a pantry space with showpiece island unit in Ceppo Nova marble.

 

 

会议室地面铺上内敛沉稳的橡木实木地板，使用半透明的玻璃做空间的轻分割再加上优雅黄铜的点缀，整体氛围不仅能给予客户舒适的正式会议也能成为同事们思想碰撞及构思讨论的空间。

This sequence of meeting spaces is intended to offer a range of environments in which the creative process can occur; spaces for ideation, discussion and presentation.  Finished in a restrained yet premium palette of solid oak flooring, translucent glass and brass metal, the interior is sufficiently formal for client-facing functions yet accessible to all.

 

 

会议区与工作区中有一道特别设计充满门洞的砌砖墙，加上裸露的生混凝土做成的天花，让大家透过门洞望向另外的区域有着原始石材的感觉，这不仅是致敬上海传统建筑“石库门风格”，也是将经典与现代奢华做完美的融合。

Separating the meeting area from the workstation area is a storage wall which runs through the centre of the space.  This ‘spine’ is punctuated with a series of apertures, allowing carefully considered glimpses through to the workings of the office beyond.  Clad in brick to reflect the local ‘Shanghai Shikumen’ heritage architecture and with an exposed concrete ceiling, the workstation area is a counterpoint to the more luxurious finishes used in the meeting areas.

 

 

Red Design作为一个轻奢生活设计的公司，工作室就是我们最好的展示空间，也是对现代生活的重新诠释，不仅需有复合空间属性的规划还得虑及精致与经典饰面的融合作用，在这生活方式不断变化的趋势下希望能激发大家对工作体验的再次思考。

We felt it was important that our workspace reflects the Red Design brand values as a luxury lifestyle design group.  From the considered integration of overlapping and hybrid functions to the interplay of refined and raw finishes we hope that our office will also inspire new ways to think about the working experience in the context of evolving lifestyle and hospitality trends.
